Ingredients:
- 500 Gram Chicken breast (Cut into pieces)
- 2 Large Onions (Chopped)
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Large Tomatoes (Chopped)
- 2 Large Tomatoes (Chopped)
- 1 inch Ginger (Peeled)
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1-2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
Method:
A rich and flavourful curry, this chicken madras curry recipe is easy to make and extremely delicious. It is ideal for a dinner party!
How to Make Chicken Madras
1- Grind onion, garlic, red chilli and ginger, garlic together until a coarse paste.
2- Now heat vegetable oil in a pan, add the paste and fry for 4-5 minutes. If it starts to stick in the pan, add water.
3- Now add turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Cook for about 4-5 minute
4-Add chicken chunks. Mix everything well and make sure the chicken pieces are well coated with the mixture.
5- Cook until the chicken begins to change the colour, add a small splash of water if it sticks to the base of the pan.
6- Add chopped tomatoes along with salt to taste, cover and cook for 25-30 mins.
7- Add coriander leaves and serve with rice, roti, naan or any bread of your choice.
