Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp barley, soaked for 2 hours
- 1 Tbsp masoor dal, soaked for 30 minutes
- 1 tsp oil2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1 tsp onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp carrot, cubed
- 2 Tbsp beans, cubed
- 2 Tbsp cauliflower, cubed
- 1/2 tsp haldi
- To taste Salt
- 2-3glass water
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Method:
Barley is a healthy grain, we can make various dishes with this. Now we bring a delicious soup recipe which is made from barley and goodness of crunchy veggies like cauliflower and beans.
How to Make Barley Soup
1-Heat oil and add garlic, green chilli and onion to it. Saute well.
2-Add barley, masoor and rest of the vegetables. saute for a minute on medium flame.
3-Add salt, haldi and saute for a while.
4-Add water and pressure cook for up to 4 whistles.
5-Transfer it to a bowl, add ghee, black pepper and salt (if needed).
6-Serve hot.
