Ingredients:
- 120 gm Chicken thigh
- 10 gm Rosemary
- 5 gm Thyme
- 25 gm Paprika powder
- 5 gm Salt
- 5 gm Pepper
- 100 gm Hung curd
- 25 gm Cucumber
- 20 gm Mint
- 5 gm Salt
- 5 gm Pepper
- 3 gm Black olive
- 25 gm Iceberg
- 20 gm Jalapeno
- 20 gm Onion
- 20 gm Tomato
- Pita bread for gyros:
- 250 gm Flour
- 100 ml Milk
- 5 gm Yeast
- 5 gm Salt
- 20 gm Sugar
Method:
Yogurt-marinated chicken topped on pita bread with tzatziki sauce – this chicken gryo is wholesome, refreshing can be made in just under 30 minutes.
How to Make Chicken Gyro
1- In a large bowl, combine marinade ingredients and stir well.
2- On a cutting board, place a piece of plastic wrap over the chicken thighs and pound until about 1/2 inch 1 cm thick with a meal mallet rolling pin or heavy pan.
3- In other large bowl or gallon plastic bag, combine chicken thighs and marinade, stirring well to coat. Cover the refrigerate for at least one hour and up to one day.
4- Preheat the oven to 200 degree C. Shred the cucumber. (Make sure to squeeze out any excess liquid.)
5- In a medium bowl, combine tzatziki ingredients and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 mins.
