Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Onion
- finely chopped1/2 cup Tomato
- finely chopped1/2 cup
- Cucumber
- 1/2 cup Cheese
- grated1/2 tbsp Chilli flakes
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tbsp ButterLeft over dal
- 2-4 slices of bread

Dal is a staple Indian food and in most of the households it is consumed almost every day combined with rice, roti and sabzi. But have you ever thought of pairing it with bread for breakfast? I am sure this idea must have shocked you. But trust me, dal sandwich makes a breakfast meal if you know the right way to prepare it. This recipe can simply be prepared from one bowl of left over dal from your last night’s meal.
How to Make Dal Sandwich
1- Add a layer of dal on a bread slice.
2- Add the veggies one by one on it.
3- Place a slice of cheese and sprinkle the seasonings.
4- Top it with another slice of bread.
5- In a pan add some butter and put the sandwich on it. Let it cook until it turns into golden brown.
6- Take it off the pan and voila your protein rich dal sandwich is ready to eat.
