Ingredients:
- Washed Urad Dal - 1/2 bowl
- Chana Dal - 1/2 bowl
- Hing - 1 pinch
- Green chilies - 2 (finely chopped)
- Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder -1/2 tsp

Very few ingredients are used to make Dal Vada. By making Urad Chana Dal Vada, you can serve it with tea of your favorite chutney. So let’s start making without wasting any time.
How to make Dal Vada
1- To make Dal Vada, first clean and wash the washed urad dal and chana dal well, then keep the dal soaked in water overnight.
2- On the second day in the morning you will see that the dal has swelled after soaking in water, now remove all the water from the dal and wash the dal thoroughly once again.
3- Now put the dal in a mixer jar with little water and grind it well. (Use as little water as possible while grinding the lentils)
4- Now take out the crushed lentils in a big bowl and add asafoetida, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt to it.
5- Now mix all these things well. Dal Vada mixture is ready.
6- Now for frying the vadas, put oil in a pan and heat it.
7- When the oil becomes hot, put the mixture in the hot oil little by little by hand. (Put only 5 to 6 vadas in the pan at a time)
8- Now fry the vadas on low flame till they become golden brown. (If you fry the vadas on oil flame, then your vadas will turn brown quickly from outside and will be kept raw from inside)
9- When the vadas turn brown, take them out in a plate and prepare vadas of the entire mixture in the same way.
10- Take it, the delicious Crispy Dal Vada is ready.
11- Now put Dal Vada in a serving plate and serve it with chutney and tea and eat it yourself.
