Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1/2 tbsp Gram flour
- 2 A pinch of Asafoetida
- A pinch of Jaggery
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 cups Water
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter
- 1/4 cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 3 Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Ginger, chopped
- Curry leaves1 Whole
- red chilly
- 3 Green chillies, chopped
Method:
A light and lovely curry made with soothing ingredients like yogurt, gram flour, curry leaves and ginger.
How to Make Gujarati Kadhi
1- Take a bowl and mix the curd, gram four, asafoetida, jaggery, salt and water. Mix it well using a whisk.
2- Heat a pan and pour in the mixture. Keep stirring till the curry thins out.
3-As the curry thins out, add the seasoning and boil the curry for 5-6 minutes.
4- Serve hot in a bowl.
For the seasoning:
Heat clarified butter and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cloves, ginger, green chillies and the red chilly.
